The perfect mix of sugary pop, vibrant colours and enough crunch and substance to make sure it lasts ten times longer than your average lolly.
The Line of Best Fit
Templeman’s songwriting is unmatched amongst his fellow 18-year-old musicians, displaying both a successful present and a bright future.

Forever Isn’t Long Enough is a showcase of the deeper side to Templeman and a distinct show of how he is maturing in his music.

It turns up the production slickness while sacrificing none of his affable, boyish charm.
On this mini-album, Templeman’s far-flung influences are brought together more fluently than before. And more importantly, he appears in the throws of continual creative reinventions.

Overall, a very mature collection of sing-alongs. Templeman has proven that he is evolving as an artist. This is going to be a big year for this young crooner.

Forever Isn't Long Enough is a pretty respectable debut album. Alfie Templeman isn't necessarily doing anything super revolutionary or ground-breaking as disco revival has been done to death at this point. For what it is though, FILE is an airtight 30-minute pleasant, upbeat experience (up until the last song that is, that one's pretty sad). There aren't many dips in quality across its runtime either and it doesn't overstay its welcome like most indie-pop albums tend to nowadays.

FAVORITE TRACK: Film Scene Daydream

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Everybody's Gonna Love Somebody

Long overdue, Alfie Templeman finally releases his debut LP. Templeman has been an artist coming up strong in the indie pop scene over the last year. His last EP, Happiness in Liquid Form, was a pretty enjoyable- albeit pretty mundane- pop record. For Forever Isn't Long Enough, I was hoping Templeman would bring more- whether it's in vocals, instrumentals or lyrics.

I really like this. Shady and Forever ... read more
