What a disappointment! 3 Year Wait for This!
I have no idea how Sylvan thought switching up his style to becoming a generic, corny Trap artist was a good idea.
Firstly his Voice. His voice has always been goofy, high pitched, animated and slightly annoying but when it pairs with good production it worked and it gave me a slight Kendrick impression especially his last album which reminded me a lot of Section.80. This EP is really goddamn great. I’m really excited for the next entry in this series. I will say that the main appeal here is definitely the actual rapping. I generally wasn’t that impressed by the skeletal Trap beats here, but Sylvan is one of those rappers who can kill it over any type of production.
