JID is gonna release one of the best albums of the year soon and i'm in for the ride. If i hear anymore MID jokes i'll start going crazy on them poor souls. AND, welcome back Bobby Shmurda, time to do the Shmoney Dance again after 7 years. Damn, been a long time.

Wow, this is hands down J.I.D's most politically charged and personal track yet, he talks about the racial injustices he had to face throughout life and how that ties in with the generational racism black people have to face, his upbringing and personal history with Tuskegee, he ties his owns experiences cleverly with the historical events that occurred there. I haven't listened to a lot of JID in the past other than on a few features, with 'Skeegee' being the first single I've heard from him. JID's vocals sound wonderful as he sounds so slick and flows smoothly for the entirety of the track. The production is relaxing as it uses a sample to create an old-school effect along with some average drums that could've been a lot better. The lyrics are super ... read more
JID channels his inner Pusha T on his latest single. He really pushes the boundary of getting to that next level tier of lyricists.
This could potentially be a monster year for Dreamville.
