This is probably my favorite crop of songs from SMtB yet. Not only does this have some of their most crushing production, but their greatest compositions as well. This EP is fun as hell and is easily one of my favorite releases of the year thus far. If this the direction the band is going in, they're on track to put out their best album yet.
What a hard hitting & fun batch of songs. This EP is like candy, I feel like the more I keep digesting it I'm going to get addicted. This is the first thing I have heard from the band, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from them because this shit is GREAT!
Best Tracks: Rubberband, People On TV, Survive*
Worst Track: N/A
the singer could be yelling the words to a Dr. Seuss poem and it'd still go hard as shit
I went into this with some decently high expectatiions as I enjoyed their last record a fair bit, but this one did not click for me. I even went back to see if I still enjoyed their previous work and yeah, so it's not like I merely did a 180 on them. The title track aside, this one just isn't cutting it.
Not a bad listen at all. I just have mixed feelings.
