‘Harmony House’ is a masterful throwback to the cheese of 80s pop-rock that Dayglow somehow makes as culturally relevant and appealing as it’s ever been.

Expanding the sound

So, I was really looking forward to listening to this new Dayglow album, honestly, it was the only reason why I was looking forward to this Friday, and well, I think this delivers on literally every level. Really sweet indie pop tunes that are just perfect for the summer. I especially like the production here and the synths, horns, and guitars all sound great here. Dayglow's execution here was really good and the album is just simple and sweet. Really enjoyable and I can see myself playing this a lot!

I hate that I liked this more than the new twenty one pilots record, but it’s just better.

Also, this just backs my claim that modern pop music needs more horns and brass. It just adds so much character.
