More quickly than you’d expect, Busdriver’s quirks become endearing; his cartoonish vocal stretches to reach those high notes become normalised and you begin to appreciate how much heart he puts into his singing.
His insistence on frustrating and playing with expectations is often downright funny, if not antagonistic.
There isn’t much else on the hip-hop scene like this, even as new and emerging artists in the hip-hop scene continue to put out incredibly innovative stuff.
A few good songs that had nice energy but man this album feels so much more uninspired than literally all his other albums I've heard. This didn't feel like a driver album at alot of points, I think he was going for a different sound and it just ends up sounding bland and mediocre
