CRITIC REVIEWS

Mojo

Maverick Thinker draws the listener into a very personal world and rewards them with enlightenment.

Classic Rock
This third album is something to hear. Joseph is an odd fish as a frontman, more spoken-word drawler than singer as such, on minimal moments ... Yet it works brilliantly.

Louder Than War

Maverick Thinker is certainly an assured album from the band, who decamped to Sound Studios in L.A. to record it and thus have really harnessed some of the atmosphere that has permeated their music.

60
Uncut
While it's sometimes in affectation too far - see "Fiction"... the trio's chemistry makes an instant classic out of opening rocker "Move On” and infuses the title track with country charm.

Record Collector
At its best, its swaggering, good time foot stompers such as Fiction and Reasons could soundtrack a night of bourbon and billiards at the saloon bar.
