The latest from this Belgian drone metal band is a deviation from their previous body of work, Éons, as this limited LP is instead a live reworking of their first original 'Conference of the Stars' arrangement, substituting the improvisational jazz oeuvre with a psychedelic rock mix, and a length increased by over threefold. As its standalone reinterpretation of one of the group's earliest outputs, it recognizably serves as both a faithful rendition and an aesthetic downgrade. This is ... read more

This was incredible. Haven’t listened to much drone music or this band at all. I was drawn in by the cover, and by god does it deliver on that vibe. 52 minutes long and it feels like 20 at most.
