Annihilator revient… Et il est bien moins inspiré que sur Feast. Un peu décevant sur les bords – car trop sage, et trop prompt à recycler des plans ayant déjà fait leurs preuves –, l’album offre quand même son lot de nouveautés croustillantes et de clins d’œil complices. After 9 long years of publishing crap, Jeff Waters' music is back to the normality! Admittedly, not to the extent of the older (not to mention the oldest) times, but so much that it can be heard somehow. Several things contributed to this. First, the departure of Dave Padden and Waters taking up vocals again, and second, a shift to more thrash sounds.
