There’s something about the vocal phrasing here that makes this feel incredibly fresh and fun.

Every year we pull out the popcorn and a bottle of wine on the comfy couch and sometimes we even have a party in preparation for the ultimately entertaining and hilarious spectacle that is Eurovision.

In between an array of colourful, eccentric and the bizarre I was introduced to Måneskin during their surprisingly energetic and focussed performance, just enough to review their ... read more

"Rock n roll never dies." As they graced their trophy for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, those were the exact words that Italian rock quartet Måneskin preached, and "Teatro d'ira - Vol. I" definitely affirms the band's devotion to the phrase. Despite the album's short length - the project clocked in at 29-minutes - the band really touch on all corners of rock n roll, making for an album that is a nice callback to some golden oldies that simultaneously provides a ... read more

The album begins with an explosive song like "Zitti e Buoni" that we already know well to be THE song that won Sanremo 2021.

With "Coraline", we hear what is the essence of an album like this. A powerful lyrics, like the instrumental itself. The singer’s voice gives the song even more anguish. Your stomach may wriggle when you listen to this song. Five minutes of wonderful agony. My favorite of the album.

And of course, my basis for that analysis was Maneskin's 2021 album, Teatro d'Ira Vol. ... read more

Consistente. 'Teatro d'ira - Vol. I' emana muita personalidade com vocais fortes e a guitarra sempre pronta para marcar presença. Måneskin, um dos responsáveis por colocar o rock no mainstream nos últimos anos, sabe muito bem os momentos que possui nesse álbum. Começamos por 'ZITTI E BUONI', uma faixa com vida própria, abrindo o material em altíssimo nível. Se a primeira música é devidamente enérgica, 'CORALINE' ... read more

It's a lot better than their new record for sure. It actually has agressive, explosive moments that aren't watered down for the commercial audience. Actually has a purity to it, a realness. Still isn't the most cutting-edge rock record ever or anything, but it's at least very solid.
