Jungle’s sound is without a doubt the future of modern music.
Loving In Stereo is a wholehearted triumph for Jungle, yet again delivering something fresh and distinctive to cut through today’s music landscape.
Their political stance is a call for love and as the title of the album suggests, this takes more than one to accomplish.
Loving In Stereo feels altogether more insouciant. They've gone looking elsewhere for vibes and are having fun.
The duo have upped the pace considerably from their past work - this is the soundtrack for a wild night.
On their third album, in fact, they do it better than ever. The soaring, celebratory massed choruses are underpinned by a grittier production that clearly shows they’ve been paying attention to the buzz around SAULT.
‘Loving In Stereo’ proves to be a triumphant pursuit of elegance resulting in a decadently transportive record that finds celebration in the unbridled joy of music.
With shops reopening in the UK after a series of pandemic-induced lockdowns, the concept of freedom in Jungle’s ‘Loving In Stereo’ is wonderfully felicitous, but so is their approach to music; maintaining their identity but embracing their impulsive and bohemian side.
There's something about the peaceful and positive energy this album provides that reflects this brand new freedom.
‘Loving In Stereo’ might not quite satiate as fully after the delicious hooks of its lead singles, but in elevating Jungle’s pulse overall McFarland and Lloyd-Watson have captured what feels like a natural and necessary progression – and a fun, danceable one at that.
Jungle are at their most elevated throughout Loving in Stereo, in terms of both creativity and the general tone of the album. The songs are exploratory and fun, exuding energy and positivity and resulting in some of the group's best work to date.
Here, the London duo give us more of their precisely-produced boogie, stuffed with samples and live instrumentation that correlates the genre’s analog roots to its resurrected present.
Dance duo's third album supplies some much-needed cheer.
Jungle's signature sound remains in effect on album three, but the earworms are proving a little harder to come by.
A little bit hip-hop, a little bit spangled funk… Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland take a more organic approach, and it works.
It’s certainly a step up from disappointing previous album For Ever, the quality varies while maintaining a winning smile throughout.

Undoubtedly their weakest offering thus far, but still a very entertaining and enjoyable upbeat LP that once more is destined to be a summer staple in multiple households and festivals every year.

I heard this album 2 years ago and didn't reviewed it and just realized now. But anyway, listened to it again and honestly it still sounds pretty week. Apart form a few songs there's nothing really interesting going on.
