Smooth as hell, tasteful to a fault and perhaps more respectful to open-ended consumption preferences than its predecessorโ€™s giddy rush.

Beautifully enriched in sparkling synths and alluring vocals, <loveabout,> is an even more ambitious attempt at nailing the retro sound that is ever so underutilized in the current Korean musical landscape.

Leap forward - 9.7/10
Insomnia - 10/10
Love month - 9.5/10
TIME TRAVEL - 10/10
Secret - 9.5/10
Pung! - 10/10

Final score: 97/100

YUKIKA is running so the other girls can crawl. 'timeabout,' is her most refined work yet, filled with glittery city-pop renaissance, stupidly stunning vocals, amazing lyrical power and the most cohesive of sounds you can expect from a "k-pop" artist. I don't need to tell yall how rare this woman is, after discovering her last year with 'Soul Lady' which is impeccable, I developed a little obsession with her music. Not a long time after that she's here with this EP that I WISH it was ... read more

I definitely can't seem to like K-Pop boy bands, like BTS, Blackpink, etc. The fact that Yukika is considered K-pop only because she does pop in Korea is something positive, because she doesn’t bring that completely plastic, super artificial and processed sound, she takes a risk in an 80’s City - Pop sound. It’s practically an Asian Dua Lipa , and I think this is really cool.
