Ultimately, GAMI GANG is nothing short of a great time, and you can virtually hear how much fun the duo have while playing these songs together.
Paired with Origami Angel’s lighthearted humor and penchant for twinkly, mathy elements, Gami Gang feels daring and lively rather than flat-out brutal.
GAMI GANG is action-packed and relentlessly entertaining, and the band rips through 20 tracks with great efficiency.
god fucking damn.
with energetic instrumentals, passionate vocals, and an excess of dad puns, gami gang is a must hear for any emo fan. i discovered origami angel in 2019 with the release of their debut full length, somewhere city. and while i do slightly prefer somewhere city to gami gang, this is by NO means a sophomore slump. when you listen to origami angel, you hear a bunch of nerdy friends having a shit ton of fun together. you can tell that they truly enjoy what they’re doing. ... read more

tracks undoubtedly blend into one other, but much of that is given to the cohesion of the album structure. this rips when played all the way through, so seamlessly. props to "self-destruct", wow
hate this title and cover though, shame
Sadly very spotty. Some of the catchiest and most uplifting tracks of its year are on here, but some songs like -you wont- are just too formulaic and dont stick out compared to the best songs of the album. Sometimes the songs also just get a little too silly for my taste.
