2013 was the last time he was any good. I think that's enough Vic Mensa for my lifetime. I get it, you guys are siked he's going back to his roots sonically, and it is an improvement in that department, but these bars are so damn cliche. One year he's trap, next year he's doing house, next year it's boom bap; he will literally do anything to stay relevant.

NOT BAD. I came into this with very low expectations despite liking the single but I was pleasantly surprised.

The mixtape properly starts with VICTORY which I thought was pretty good and then MILLIONAIRES impressed me as well. KWAKU was interesting but it was too long and then we get on to FR33DOM. This song is like the most bipolar song ever and the worst part is that the transitions were awful and abrupt. The theme of having two completely different songs continues into MOOSA.
