I'm revisiting the Dir en grey's discography to re-listen to some stuff.
DSS expands the even more the Dir en grey's musicality. There's more ambient on the songs, making them a lot creepier and not turning them goofie.
I really like this album, have some really good bangers, but has some forgetable songs in the middle.

Ruten no Tou
Dir en grey has got to be one of the most unique bands in the history of music. There's not a single other band that I could only share one album from; share another, and you would not believe that it is from the same band. "Dum Spiro Spero" is the culmination of Dir en grey maturing as a band, and what we're left with is an album that is completely unlike anything else that it experiments with.
