Probably Moodie Black's greatest display of skill and atmosphere. The pure technicality of K-Death's delivery will have underground rap fans foaming at the mouth, and the production will pull in the rest. Really my only problem is that it can get a bit same-y at times, but the good far outweighs the bad.
Another noisy, grimy and distorted experimental hip-hop album that sounds very much alike Death Grips in some of their songs. Even though some claim that Moodie Black are some of the pioneers of the genre, some songs in the tracklist here get very, very close to some of the mentioned band, and while this aesthetic does not feel now quite as shocking and original as it was a few years ago, Moodie Black still manage to sound heavy, obscure and very disturbing on these songs (mainly on the lyrical ... read more
