Probably my favorite Cornell solo album. I really enjoyed his venturing into acoustic territory in his later years. I think the first 9 songs on Higher Truth are top notch. The tail end of the album does ease up a little bit, but this is an album that I've come back to a lot since it came out and I've even come to love the weaker songs. Its among Cornell's best work since the start of the new millennium.

This isn't neccessarily a bad album but It is Highly forgettable. Honestly I had forgotten about it until someone just mentioned it to me. I love Chris, but out of all his properties, This ranks pretty low compared to some off the classics he has produced. His vocal performances of course are as powerful as always, but the insturmentals are pretty bland, (as most acoustic albums are). Honestly just makes me want to listen to Superunknown or Audioslave.
