Why tf is Shawn Mendes on a BROCKHAMPTON Song? This song is just so damn mid compared to BUZZCUT which was such a fucking fun song. The vocals are so boring and the production is just shit. This song has only one member on the song that even does something on the song. The hook on this song aswell 😑😑. This sounds more like a really boring demo than a single. I'm losing hope for the album

EDIT: IT’S GROWING ON ME A LOT, TAKE THIS REVIEW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT

Yikes, this was a disappointment.

This feels like the band cashing in. BUZZCUT was such a wild and phenomenal single, with so much chaos and energy, and this just feels extremely damp, artificial, and lukewarm. It gives off the same energy as the 2nd half of GINGER to me, being stale and forgettable. The track has a whistle type beat, and with Shawn Mendes and Rocky on here, COUNT ON ME feels like they are trying to ... read more

BUZZCUT makes COUNT ON ME sound like a stupid ass tik tok song, yet it's low key a grower.

Bro...

A poorly mixed A$AP Rocky verse meets a SoGoneSoFlexy that, quite frankly, feels like a pretty bad Freddie Gibbs verse, all laid over a pretty messy beat. The only real saving graces of the track are a pretty decent hook that kinda feels like a Ginger offshoot, but I'll take what I can get with this track, and a decent Matt Champion feature. I doubt this will be indictive of the entire album's quality, but I hope this will end up being the only track at this level of quality on the ... read more

Strange choice to release two singles where only one member in the group actually has a verse.

While I do like this song, I’m hoping the album isn’t like this and am glad this wasn’t the first single because this is the direction I was worried they would go in.

This is a solid song, but it doesn’t really feel like a Brockhampton single. Most of the song is dominated by unlisted features, none of which really come through with a great performance or anything. ... read more

Wow just goes in one ear and right out the other. Why do Asap Rocky & Shawn Mendez sound so horrible? Derivative & super poor production. Strange.

This cannot be adequately described as anything but a disappointment.

After dropping without a doubt one of the best singles of the year in “Buzzcut”, I was very excited for some new Brockhampton!! But unfortunately, their newest “Count On Me” just doesn’t hold up to the same level of quality as that track or almost all of the groups discrography as a matter of fact.

I sincerely hope that this is just a dud of sorts and that Buzzcut doesn’t end up being the ... read more

BROCKHAMPTON’S mediocre songs are different than other artists mediocre songs. Yes, it’s clearly not as good as BUZZCUT, but it’s not nearly as bad as a 62 guys. This is a 7/10 song, but yeah, it’s not as good as BUZZCUT, but that doesn’t mean it’s still bad.

this is honestly like WHERE THE CASH AT 2.0: a song by them that had a lot of potential and a great hook spurned by being way too short and not letting enough of the band shine

I mean Matt & Flexy go hard and I like the song but as a big teaser for ROADRUNNER and one of the songs Rick Rubin called out of this world or whatever? Confused

also hey guys sorry for disappearing lol

this is the first time that brockhampton has performed below the somewhat low expectations i go into every BH release with. its underwhelming, it feels like a b side technical difficulties track, a project of b sides.

[EDIT] Yeah, this one grew on me too. It's not one of the standouts on the record though, most of my critiques still apply, but the hook is catchy as hell and the production is immaculate. In the context of the album it makes a lot more sense, though it's nowhere near being a great track.

These guys are 0/2 for this new project, idk what's going on but something is just missing, and I know EXACTLY what it is, and I'm not going to stop saying it, it's the group dynamic. A$AP is fine, Matt is ... read more
