Drowned in Sound

Don't expect vast departures from the formula on Valentina; the Weddoes know their niche.

For the faithful, and even anyone who's heard the name but never the music, this is the same old wonderful stuff from one of our finest songwriters.

No Ripcord

With Valentina, he has created another fine love album, full of clever, relatable, fine love songs, but not in the traditional sense.

If anything, it’s only when the Wedding Present goes off script that Valentina loses some momentum.

Under The Radar

So here you have it, another iteration of The Wedding Present, a bona fide institution at this point, and not one to rest on those laurels—vital as ever.

Valentina is essentially Gedge and his current sidemen doing a very solid impression of the Wedding Present as they were circa 1990.
