Moments like these make Crooked Machine possibly even more danceable than the original, as well as a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend more time in Róisín Machine's world.


More intimate and less reverential than a traditional remix album, collaborator Richard Barratt’s full-length rework casts Róisín Machine in deeper shades of modern house and techno.

Like a great switcheroo remake from another characters perspective, Parrot and Róisín swap driver and passenger seats to great success. It's darker, deeper, and more twisted than its former, with Parrot crafting the vocals into textures and instruments to be explored more than formulaic equations.

I enjoyed this more than Róisín Machine, The remix is more rich and deep
I found my self just vibing and mesmerized by the amazing well made instruments and i didnt find anything wrong with them, i just wished there were some more vocals in some tracks

Definitely one of the best albums ive heard this year
Largely whelmed by this remix project. I have loved Crooked Man's remixes throughout this album campaign, and of course adore the album, though I find this project to sound inessential. Some of these remixes are fantastic (Kingdom of Machines, Less is More, We Are the Law, Hardcore Jealousy), while others (Echo Returns, Capable Rhythm, Crooked Madam) seem to have shed some of their shine.
