Splintering beats that accumulate further to create almost a deconstructed club energy that will make you interestingly dance. I really dig this one.

An exciting debut record from Hildegard, the duo of Montréal-based artists Helena Deland and Ouri. The project is closer to Ouri’ as solo work than Deland’s, drawing on deconstructed club music more so than tender indie rock. Still, Deland’s writing and singing mirrors that on her 2020 album “Someone New”.
