If you like jazzy boom bap and you haven't heard this album yet, YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF A DISSERVICE. This is ear candy for East Coast heads, you'll spot all sorts of samples you recognize. Skyzoo is a great voice to lead through it all, too, such a satisfying listen with a noticeable lack of bad or mid songs. Culture-ish into Bed-Study Is Burning is some of the best rap this year, I swear. I almost can't tell if this album is more uplifting or cynical, there's a good display of both.
I think I prefer his 2 EPs of 2020 and LP from 2019 with Pete Rock, but if you're a big fan of his, you're probably going to go all-in on this one too. One of the best rap albums of the year so far
