I’m not sure how I came across this but it’s pretty far from what I’m listening to in #2021.

On ‘The Music Is Hot’ I can imagine an American diner or country beer commercial and this is ok, I like the folk elements actually but the country vibe is mostly too much for my regular listening but if someone put this stuff on the jukebox in that said diner AND I had a beer, well a few beers at least then perhaps I could enjoy this.

Got some BBQ ribs? Beer? Baked beans and cornbread?

Then you are ready ... for some sweet luscious sounds of Nashville blues.

With vocals similar to Burl Ives and Randy Newman, let uncle John Hiatt and The Jerry Douglas Band serve-up your backyard soundtrack this summer.

The production quality of this album is superbly Nashville, but not all tracks are gemstones. Still, hard to believe there's no drums.
