While that new Citizen album is easily my front runner for this style Cleopatrick do a decent job of the #2010s rock sound left behind by Highly Suspect and Royal Blood.

cleopatrick take the opposite approach to the sounds that Royal Blood once dominated. Instead of going the dance punk route, the band goes for a more garage sound that uses a ton of fuzz to generate their vibes. To that end, it keeps their music interesting.

My second favourite album of 2021 (just behind Dead Poet Society's "-!-") . Consistent and with some powerful tracks.

MY 3 FAV SONGS: The Drake (in fact my most played song that year), Why July and 2008 (Grat Lakes and Family Van comes close too).

Victoria Park, Family Van, 2008, and Great Lakes are amazing. The album really has no filler.
