An absolute masterpiece in both rock and jazz communities and it absolutely deserves it. The perfection of each of the performers solo work is inspiring but comes all together for an insanely precise but improvisational feel experience.

This is huge and could come out tomorrow and still feel as amazing as we know it is 50 years on.

If there's any way to describe this album, it's a form of blissful musicianship that makes your jaw drop on each song. Mahavishnu Orchestra consists of world class musicians, being guitarist John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham on drums, Jan Hammer on keyboards, Jerry Goodman on violin, and Rick Laird on bass.
