Cruelty brings with them a dose of hardcore crust punk with a bevy of influences to assault your senses. Thundering rhythms propelled by a drum style not unlike the legendary Joey from Slipknot bring relentless fills supported by glitchy and powerful riffing that wouldn't be out of place if Reba from Code Orange were hammering them out. That's pretty good.
Great songs in its first half and although I got a little bit disinterested in the second one, the mood of despair is consistent through the end and it's a widely energetic album.
Wow, that’s an intense ride. Absolute chaos with late-slipknot inspired drums but skilled quick string work it’s a great listen. Also some glitchy sections which are unsettling and a bit where somebody is being hacked to death isn’t the nicest but apart from that it’s a sick hardcore record
