Chapter 1 = Blinding Lights by The Weeknd
Chapter 2 = Lovesong by The Cure
Chapter 3 = some Arca/FKA Twigs type beat

Not saying this is bad, but the songs do sound a bit derivative. But with the context of this being 3 out of the 6400 possible versions of HMLTD’s ever changing song project, it makes it a bit more understandable/forgivable.
Solid EP from HMLTD that is quite derivative but at least the music it is derived from is good
This is a really interesting project, though not my favourite of their tracks I’m excited to see where this goes
Wtf. Where is their art-punk sound presented on their debut? They were good at it... This is derivative with questionable production choices, I am not happy at all about their transition into more pop/dance teritorry, because while pretty enjoyable, it falls flat and doesn't say anything, while their debut was a pretty powerful piece of work. It's way too mediocre, especially for this talented band.
My best find of 2021. I was spending so much time figuring out the demo to each song, and was able to find two, wasn't sure about the last one. The EP was solid, for sure recommending this one to more people.
