On one of his most ambitious and definitive projects, Mach-Hommy reunites with Westside Gunn and puts on an unforgettable clinic with his razor-sharp bars and an exceptional eye for detail.

Beats Per Minute

Haiti lacks a clear narrative. Still, this hardly harms the project. It simply constrains it to being particularly strong rather than transcendent.

The Needle Drop
Pray for Haiti would be a good starting point for getting into Mach-Hommy's music.

"your raps braggadocious put this 38 in your mouth go head and spit your magnum opus" is a crazy bar because mach hommy is 38 years old and he talking about spitting but also a gun which can also be called a "dick" so he basically sticking a dick and a gun into this dudes mouth then asking him to give him an amazing verse and some immaculate dome and you still wanna argue that he isnt the best rapper of all time get out of my face

Sometimes the best Westside Gunn album ain't even a Westside Gunn album, it's Pray For Haiti by Mach-Hommy.

Shoutout to Mach-Hommy for one of my favorite one-liners of the year: “Shot him two times like Moderna”. That had me dying lmao.

I had seen Mach-Hommy’s name a few times before, but I hadn’t really heard of him until this album, and this album is the first project I’ve heard from him. And while I don’t think it’s amazing, it’s definitely an impressive album. The production is great and maybe the standout, and Mach-Hommy comes through with some ... read more

mach-hommy is a name i’ve heard for a while but didn’t check out until just now. the production is fantastic on this thing,
which i can now come to expect from griselda releases. lyrically, this a celebration of hatian culture and i always appreciate when albums focus on a culture that is important to them. mach’s flow is exciting and the features are all great. west side gunn shows up a lot on this album and he kills it every time. this album makes me want to go back and ... read more
