A.V. Club

The strength of UFO is that it sounds like a true GBV record, rather than simply a clandestine avenue for Pollard’s solo material.

Pollard’s finally back at the top of his game, and the band’s held onto its Midwest roots and still manage to sound fresh and vital.

Consequence of Sound

The record has that special amount of DIY attitude that’s hard to disagree with, that extra beat of the heart that keeps pumping through the speakers.

Class Clown is full of left-turns and detours, willing to spike some of its better hooks simply to keep things interesting.

Under The Radar

It's better than your average album, but by the standard of Let's Go Eat the Factory, it leaves a bit to be desired.

Drowned in Sound

Most of this record isn't the kind of total genius that can be found elsewhere in their canon but it's a fine album

Class Clown… proves a typically erratic and frustratingly inconsistent listening experience.
