While not quite a marquee work for either artist, the new team-up is reliably consistent and casts them as a natural pair—near-ideal complements to one another in writing and execution.

Despite being backed by some pretty unremarkable production, Lil Baby and Lil Durk bring out the best of each other on The Voice of the Heroes.

On their solo projects we’ve seen the two explore emotions and musical range to make knockout hits, but when Lil Baby and Lil Durk come together, it’s a little more hit and miss.

If you told me a year ago that I would actually somewhat enjoy a collab album from Lil Baby & Lil Durk, I would have laughed at you and thought you were completely insane. But here we are, and here it is, and I do actually enjoy it quite a bit.

Lil Baby & Durkio are some of my favourite current rappers. They both have proven to me that they are worth it and that they deserve the fame and clout they've been receiving in the last couple of years.
