Big Squawk avoids not only industry trends, but his own usual tropes too. Delivering an album that precisely but sporadically comment on his feelings about love, self-love, and his career as a whole. The album takes a much more lofi approach, choosing glistening instrumentals as opposed to his usually loud ringing tracks, although he appropriately includes some of these returns occasionally.
