Predictable and uninspiring.

I can appreciate the effort and fact he seems to be having a good time, but this type of guitar driven hard rock music is only made for a certain type of audience - that most definitely suffer from golden age thinking.
Nice intention but no innovation.

This feels very re-hashed and date stamped and the crazy good guitar playing wizardry paired with predictable metal drum accents and unoriginal lyrical content sadly bury some fantastic musicianship further into the shadow of the outdated 80s guitar Gods.

Amist the passing of the late great Eddie Van Halen, his son has taken to the studio to bring us his first studio album. And of course, being a van halen means youre really good at guitar (im not being sarcastic). The one man band of Mammoth WVH really shows the heart and soul of Wolfgang. Props to Wolfgang for doing something of his own and keeping his talent spread out through out this entire album. However, its overpolished sound does nothing for me, nor does the direction of the music.
