Utada Hikaru’s 4th Japanese studio album “Ultra Blue” is the successor to the hugely successful and acclaimed “Deep River” and had huge shoes to fill. I sincerely believe that this album not only is one of their best but really marks something special in their discography. Eu gostei muito desse, mas não chega a ser um sentimento similar à minha paixão pelos álbuns anteriores.


"Ultra Blue" has own colours and some ethereal moments, some songs that could be in various lists about Hikki's best songs and best hooks, but fails about bring something new and exotic about her discography after Deep River that was fantastic. Hikki laid down to relax this time after she find a good comfort zone what is ok for now after consolided herself as one of the japanese music's monster.
