He is trying everything he can to sound like his old self, the kid who blew up from SoundCloud. He never quite reaches that point, so the entire album is just so uncanny and unfunny. The natural charisma he is trying to channel is just gone, so he sounds like he is 40 years old pretending to be 16. I remind you, he is literally my age.
This album has so many awful, disgusting, and unfunny bars that ruin it even being a background vibe album. This thing really just ended up being complete ... read more
Chasing past glories aren't we?
Lil Pump is an artist I've never been the biggest fan of ever since his breakthrough in late 2017 with 'Gucci Gang'.
To me, that was a bad sign that this kind of Hip-Hop would become a trend to follow, and it did for a while.
Fast forward to 2023, and we get Lil Pump 2... a record that's nothing short of musical devolvement.
What we've got here is 39mins of Trap / Rap that is mostly devoid of character, charm, wit, innovation or anything of entertainment ... read more
Bro got the medusa hairstyle going on, Throwing it back to the good ol ancient greek days aren't we?
This album kinda bad though π₯
This album is hilariously bad. I mean, it starts with Theo Von proclaiming that his favorite type of weed was cocaine. I mean, based, but like why start with that? Other than that, there's a quotable bar on every song here, that are just mindblowingly stupid. Sure, this project is ass, but I like ass. That's especially true for Pump Rock x Heavy Metal which will potentially go down as my favorite song of the year and will definitely go down as the worst song of the year.
Mr. Pimp, try harder ... read more
NO NUANCE REVIEW
I came into this record wanting to like it. Lil Pump’s been the face of bad pop trap and disposable SoundCloud rappers for nearly a decade while not even being the worst of either. Lil Pump is one of the easiest of the easiest of targets, and I’d argue there’s far more deserving. I genuinely wanted to meet him where he was at and give credit where it was due and not needlessly dogpile on a guy who has already been dogpiled out of relevancy.
But come on, ... read more
Imma be real, im just getting this over with so i can get to the M83 album sooner in the morning.
I honestly was kinda expecting a lot more out of this album, considering how much it seemed like Pump really wanted to put something special out there. But, I feel as was predicted by many, “Lil Pump 2” is nothing more than an out of touch trap album whose audience barely really exists anymore to begin with. There are some surprisingly pretty good moments on here where I think ... read more

Where do I begin?
Little Pimp actually managed to top YB with the worst album of 2023 by a longshot.
You know, i don't hate Lil Pump just because it's what everyone rightfully does, this LP has like 2 good songs, on which he got bodied on, but still they're decent.
But who let this man hop on a Metal beat??
I've never heard a worse song in my life, litetally "4 DA TRAP" is better than the Metal song and i only heard like 14 seconds of the song and i had enough, safe ... read more
You know, I'd normally like to open up a 0/10 review by describing, in gruesome detail, just how unbearably horrendous the record is, and how I simply can't stand anything about it; but that would mean that I actually have something to say about the project. In this case? Nothing.
This thing is hands-down the most uninteresting, mind-bogglingly boring and stiffly produced piece of garbage I have ever heard. There is not a single shred of originality or real energy to be found throughout the ... read more
lil pump’s old music felt effortlessly dumb and kinda fun, this album feels like he’s trying as hard as he can to be a silly billy and because of that it doesn’t really work
Top Tracks: Pull Up, No Hook
Worst Tracks: All The Sudden, Pump Rock x Heavy Metal, Mosh Pit, Move It, Swipe
Every time Lil Pump releases something new, I see people saying that he's just trying to revitalize the success he once had. Well, I disagree with that, because if it's true, then it would imply that, whenever he's tired of trying to relive that success, he would have the capacity, the ability and the talent to move on to something new and refreshing. Well, judging by this LP right here, he very clearly lacks all of those three things, severely.
I'll commend Pump in one thing and one thing ... read more
Lil Pump 2 has a couple of interesting styles that can be used well, but lil pump doesn't sound great or understands what happens on these tracks. The chaos of this album is entertaining but this begins being boring when the track I Don't Mind comes with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, after this track album starts going downhill. Lil pump sounds like he didn't care about this album, his flow is predictable and uninteresting such as the terrible lyrics on this album. And even for Lil pump where he ... read more
No amount of Dilaudid can save this album.
I never expect Lil Pump to do great, and this surely kept that streak alive. Considering the best song features Smokepurpp, what else do you need to know about this record? The only positive I can give it (and I know confidently that I can't even speak for anyone else for sure) is that it felt like 39 minutes and no longer. It didn't feel disastrously boring to a point where I didn't pay attention to anything, but rather this just kept me awake by ... read more
Lil Pump returns with a pretty decent return to form. I went through the journey most have gone through in their life where they start as a Pump hater, then become a Pump fan and eventually forgot about Pump for a while. When I saw that this dropped though I knew I had to check it out. Lil Pump say what you want was a pretty damn iconic rapper for the two something years he was relevant and I came into this hoping he would fix the mistakes he made on the No Name project with Ronny J. I was ... read more
While obvs not great or impressive it's a big return to form for Pump. There are some good songs here, sometimes really good. The lowest point is the Heavy Metal song but I still didn't hate it
Bro dropped out of Harvard so he can rap ,,I need an emo bitch to cum 'round my dagger dick'' over a metal beat β οΈ
I would say Lil Pump is gradually devolving into a 13 year old soundcloud rapper, but that would imply that he was better than one beforehand
bro is 22 and still thinks he can make the same music from when he was 16 and people will care. it is painful to even see that he still makes music. this is better than to pimp a butterfly
