Fundamentally, Pom Pom Squad’s strengths lie in their theatrics as they submerge themselves gleefully in their own campiness.

Throughout ‘Death Of A Cheerleader’, the thrashing of guitar strings feels exorcising, but never overwhelming. For Pom Pom Squad it’s always been rooted in that rush of excitement that comes from finding something, or someone, you’ve been missing – including this album.

i just love indie rock.

very enjoyable but some songs can be cut off since it's too long for nothing.
'Death of a Cheerleader' navigates through a specific vibe, and much of the overall atmosphere is literal in this amazing artwork. Pom Pom Squad is an artist I'm not familiar with but already liked it a lot. The production is delightful, the vocalist is passionate about what she sings about (it is clear), the lyrics are cleaver and fun at the same time, it just works (everything). Imma watch this closely, I love making random discoveries.
