Like the soundtrack to any great musical, this collection of songs from Bo Burnham’s film Inside won’t replace the original work, but provides a way of experiencing the agony and ecstasy of the songs from another angle.

Yep. A serious contender for my Album of The Year is a comedy album.

Inside (the full special) has been incredibly important to me recently, and That Funny Feeling is genuinely my favorite song of the year so far. I obviously love the rest of the album/special as well, but specifically that one song always hits me so hard. I think hearing the songs just by themselves is a little less of an experience than the actual special, but hearing this as an album is still fantastic.

it’s actually pretty cool but if i was watching the comedy special itself it would be higher
as a standalone piece of music it is dissapointing, but with the special along it its amazing
