No Ripcord

Let Me Do One More teeters betweens knowing jokiness and kindhearted vulnerability. And though she's shown these qualities before, Tudzin carries the weight of these emotions with a masterful command—embracing change and figuring things out as she fumbles along the way.

Fury meets romantic longing, sneering meets sincere whispers, and calmer sounds meet the abrasion of others. And while that sounds like a large feat to mingle these opposites, illuminati hotties bounce between them with great precision.

Northern Transmissions

Her production skills are second to none and it’s amazing to hear what she is doing so early into a career that will only get better over time. Let Me Do One More is such a refreshing album that we need to really let her do as many more as she likes.

Slant Magazine

Illuminati Hotties’s Let Me Do One More is full of swift and dramatic shifts in tone, from acerbic and brash to soft and despondent.

80
The Line of Best Fit

Tudzin’s joy and aching heart both feel like communal experiences, even while exploring isolation. It’s the kind of record to laugh, rage, and cry to.

AllMusic

This is pleasurable and full of grand surprises in the way that great pop music connects with the listener. You need to hear this.

Pitchfork

With poignant writing and irreverent humor, Sarah Tudzin’s second album as Illuminati Hotties plays like a demonstration in the art of persistence.

80
Exclaim!

A pristine stunner, as songwriter-producer Sarah Tudzin goes for broke on 12 songs of impeccably crafted pop hooks, hyperactive crescendos and graceful comedowns.

80
Under The Radar

It’s an album that mixes fun with warmth, tenderness and regret, and certainly demonstrates Tudzin’s growth as a songwriter, producer. and multi-instrumental auteur.

80
Upset

Surrounding saccharine melodies, her unstoppable energy is soaking up all it can to keep the good ship Hotties bounding along.

80
PopMatters

The Illuminati Hotties album we’ve been waiting for is anchored in glibly gregarious power-pop, but it’s the more earnest moments that reward repeat listening.

Beats Per Minute

Let Me Do One More is a comfort record. It shows resilience and passion from one of indie music’s most intriguing risk takers.

Spectrum Culture

Few bands are as exciting as this one, and even fewer are able to present the emotional range they’re able to capture on Let Me Do One More.

well, damn. if this record had ended as well as it started, we’d have an indie rock gem in our ears. instead, i’m left loving the first five tracks and not really reaching the same highs on the back end. tracks like “Pool Hopping” and “u v v p” provide a spectacular start to the snark and confidence that’s always been notorious for female-led indie rock. unfortunately, the mellower cuts just don’t reach the energy level that would’ve made ... read more

As mainstream attention has shifted away from group acts and focused more on solo artists, more and more from indie rock has started to lean that way too and Sarah Tudzin and her band Illuminati Hotties is a great example of this. Illuminati Hotties does sound as a band on their second full album Let Me Do One More with a strong core of indie rock and power pop tracks, but its Tudzin’s charismatic delivery and lyrical focus on relationship woes and the hardships of growing up that will ... read more

Most of this is fun and enjoyable but some of it I do find a little grating. The highlights far outshine the worst of it though

Great album from IH. Really enjoy the mix of tongue in cheek lyricism/ fun tracks and the more vulnerable ones. Really no weak track on this for me.
