This is an album that a friend recommended to me! The only other album I’ve heard by Dinosaur Jr is You’re Living All Over Me, which I fucking absolutely loved and I still love it to this day. 'Bug' was more of a commercial breakthrough than 'You're Living All Over Me' and the song writing was increasingly 'neat and tidy', conventional even.

Most fans will usually point to either 'You're Living' or 'Bug' as their favourite from the band and a lot of which side of the argument you fall on will come down to whether you enjoy the more unpredictable guitar assault of the former or the tighter song writing of the latter. maybe i’m misremembering You’re Living All Over Me but this is a way better album than that. i’m just a bigger fan of the general sound and feeling of Bug. i also just found the former boring while this. this is cooler.

Eh idk man. I love this band but this level of noise, I think is where they start to fall off for me. The 1st half was a lot more memorable then the 2nd half for sure and I didn't feel they changed there sound that much or were that creative.
