Temple of the Dog was one of the first smash hits of the Seattle explosion; it also codified, with heart and muscle, the heavy anguish of the Puget sound.
sad to see this group not return for more albums, but what we got is great
fav tracks: hunger strike, say hello 2 heaven, pushin forward back
least fav track: wooden jesus
Audioslave and Velvet Revolver set my expectations for supergroups incredibly low, and this album certainly exceeded them, a BEAUTIFUL album by Pearl Jam and Soundgarden's Chris Cornell (rest in peace). The song writing and vocal performances are exceptional, with wonderful guitar featured on this album. The best supergroup album I've heard in a while.

Great tribute album and great album in general. You can feel the emotion in some of these songs. Some of the best songs I've heard on this album.
