CRITIC REVIEWS

90
Drowned in Sound

Wild Peace sighs and soars; melts and merges with you and ultimately, delivers many times more than the mere sum of its parts.

musicOMH

While it is ever-so-slightly patchy, it would be unkind to suggest that Wild Peace is anything other than an impressive debut.

64
Pitchfork

That's the thing about a record on which so many of the arresting sounds are borne of decay: Once you leave Wild Peace, it's pretty much gone.

60
Consequence of Sound

What separates Echo Lake from any of a handful of other drone-core shoegazing bands is not their sound, which is pretty but fairly generic, but their vocalist, Linda Jarvis.
