Dre proves he can still produce and that he can still rap. It also proves he has a solid discography, with the 10/10 2001 and Chronic. This albums flaws show however. With the sometimes bad mixing of Dre with modern music. Examples of this are in tracks line Medicine Man, which Dre delivers a bad verse and eminem fails miserably. That seems to be the only problem with this however and is still one of the best albums of 2015

Dre retorna depois de quinze anos com uma obra prima do rap e hip hop, mostrando ser um dos reis do gênero e fazendo jus ao seu grande nome, tal como a geração dourada dos anos 90.

Match with the movie. Although some songs are there to fill the album.
There's some kind of revolution, new skillz, showing for the world brend new and other visions of hip-hop.

Dre has always given us exceptional records! He sounds harder, more passionate, and showcases more prowess than ever, even if he's written barely any of the lyrics again. Guests Kendrick, Snoop, Eminem, Game, and Ice Cube are stand-outs, and Dre pays homage to everything, even Eazy-E (Darkside/Gone) and Bone Thugs (For The Love of Money).

Great album with amazing features but unfortunately some songs sound very similar to each other.

It took 16 years but it is finally here. This is a really well put together project by Dre. All the artists who came together including Kendrick, Snoop, Game, and several other Compton area artists contributed great work. It has a cinematic flair to the album, and the production is arguably the hardest Dr. Dre has been in a while. From start to finish, its a real pleasure to hear a new Dre album.

While Dre may sound distant from some moments in his new record, it is undeniably clear that there is a bit of his essence and identity in each track of Compton. The marvelous, really bright and clean production leaves an intense imagery in the listener's mind, as it makes the most compelling moments of the album stick more and more, almost transporting the expectator to his hometown. This record also has a quasi-narrative aspect to it, with grandious arrangements, sounds and skits, reminding ... read more

Dre comes through with a stellar album that is excellently produced, mixed, and sequenced, and also has some really stellar performances on almost every track. A lot of this album does have a feel of a soundtrack, which gives it a really nice feel as well. Best tracks- Talk About It, It's All on Me, All in a Day's Work, Darkside/Gone, Deep Water, and Talking to My Diary.

Dr. Dre recounts his past, validates his present, and earns a place in our conscience forever.

So, after 16 years, what has Dr. Dre given us? What is "Compton"? Or "Compton: A Soundtrack"? Well, many things: a personal, passionate retrospective from one of West Coast hip-hops greatest inventors and innovators, a forward-thinking hit-machine featuring career-high performances from some of the best MCs in the game (seriously, every song on this thing fucking destroys), and, ... read more

It just sounds like Dr. Dre trying to fit in with the young rappers rather than putting his own stamp on anything.

This album is the definition of the "right place at the right time", masterpice by Dre in one of the best years of rap music.
