I actually like this album. Songs like Payphone, Daylight and Love Somebody definitely grabbed my attention. The last good album from this band in my opinion

“Overexposed” finds Maroon 5 in a now commercialized state. It resorts to overused modern pop trends (autotune, glittery hooks and millenial whoops) while also being very overproduced and horribly-written. Adam Levine is also starting to become unbearable here.

Fav Tracks: Daylight, Payphone, Fortune Teller, One More Night

Least Fav Tracks: Ladykiller, Lucky Strike, The Man Who Never Lied, Doin’ Dirt

Podem achar horrível, podem acabar com tudo sobre ele, mas eu AMO. Esse pop é o meu pop, amo demais. O pop genérico feito especialmente para mim... não consigo não amar.

Here's some trivia that may interest you: Matt and Kim once did a song called "Daylight", and Maroon 5 did their own song for this album also called "Daylight". This album is called Overexposed. Months after its June 2012, Matt and Kim released their forth album, Lightning, which included a song called... "Overexposed". I'm guessing Matt and Kim realized Maroon 5 stole one of their song titles, and decided to rip them a new asshole by steeling the title of their ... read more

It's so surprising to me that Maroon 5, a hook-driven band could make their choruses sound so unbearable. The album is definitely top-heavy, with all the singles in the first half of the album. No need to listen to the rest, if you even made it through the first six songs. This is the best example of radio-ready pop songs with zero lasting value. It's so disappointing to see Maroon 5 in the position they are after this album.

Besides the lucky four singles, let's be honest: who else remembers this album? At least it has the truest title in Maroon 5's career. It's most certainly 'Overexposed' and completely corrupts the image we're force fed that Maroon 5 isn't just Adam Levine—shocking, huh?

Max Martin and Shellback's overly glossed up electro-hooks and not only are the actual members of Maroon 5 virtually absent during the production, Levine's Auto-Tune has been dressed up to the max—no, it's not ... read more
