Not worth the trouble.
Superior to Freedom of Choice, just didn't pack a big-seller like the single "Whip It". Their 2nd best next to Q:Are We Not Men? A:We Are Devo!.
If Devos last album was a kicking down the door introduction, this is Devo forcing the listener into the future full force, with blaring synthesizers and even stranger lyrical topics. The intrumentation is at full force here, with the synths taking up a huge portion of this record. Hell, there are some tracks with nothing but synth. I guess I expected that a full album by Devo would be more fun to listen to, but in the end the schtick just gets old and dies fast. Maybe there's a better Devo album out there that would convince me otherwise, but as it stands this isn't it.

Favorite track: Swelling Itching Brain
The band, a bit baffled, puts the synthesizers in front of their odd campaign and heads for the future with a half full reservoir.
