update: Just found out 'asleep in the back' is a cover
Mad disappointed that we waited four years for a three-track EP, but it is what it is 😔
Gang of Youths return with a solid comeback of tiny teasers to please fans with their indie-rock tunes, beautiful arrangement, and solid lyrics that they've brought since their Go Farther in Lightness album-era.
Favs: the angel of 8th ave.
Gang of Youths return with an EP that doesn't quite feature the satisfactory and expansive exploration of indie rock on their last LP. While these seem a little bit like B-sides to that album, it's an alright listen where you'll definitely get something out of if you're already a fan of the band. I would, at some point, like to see the band be a little more creative with their melodies.
