I've been long since anticipating a Twelve Foot Ninja album after I absolutely loved their "Outlier" project they released back in 2016. While there are some excellent bangers and creative ideas on here, some fall a good bit short on execution with either sounding too bizarre for my taste or too similar to some of their previous projects. Regardless, it's a project at least worth checking out for TFN's unique sound and songwriting.

It feels like the wait for the new Twelve Foot Ninja album has been forever and now that we have it, it's a bit underwhelming to say the least. By no stretch is it horrible, but there are some odd ideas on here that push the band, but also make a distinct lack of familiarity. It's certainly TFN trying out a lot of different sounds and hoping to step into an experimental sound, but maybe at the cost of including too much arbitrary ideas.
