Boring album imo. Not feeling the hype on some of the songs in the album.

Has some bops but could be much better and less boring. The first part is much better compared to what is happening in the second. Well, nothing interesting really happens and that is the problem.

private island 6/10
pushin P 6/10 - don't get the hype of the song. sounds boring
poochie gown 9/10 - probably my fav from the album. such a good song. don't fuck with freddy gibbs guys
mop 4/10 - don't know what is happening to thugger lately. this song is crap. beat slaps tho

Do you like Gunna? Cause I've been a big Gunna fan ever since the release of his 2016 mixtape, Drip Season 1. Before that, I really didn't understand any of his work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on WUNNA where Gunna’s presence became more apparent. I think WUNNA was his undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic round of meditation on intangibility.

At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding two mixtapes. Listen to the brilliant ensemble songcraft from the ... read more

The first 2 tracks of the album legitimately put me in a coma. I can understand people enjoying some of Gunna's other work like WUNNA which still has low energy, but this album is a new low in terms of effort. For example, listen to pushin P. Gunna says a total of like 15 words per minute and Future and stoop down to match the comatose and boring energy. As per usual, a lot of the beats are quite infectious, but Gunna proceeds to shit all over them by bringing low energy flows about cumming on ... read more

His last album was a bit better imo but this one was not really that big of a disappointment. It was very solid and to start the year, it's heat.

I didn't want to finish listening to this. When you've heard one Gunna song you've heard them all. His delivery is so boring, his features are more excited to rap on the album than he is. The "P" makes a good meme but is otherwise meaningless. "She turn pesbian"... low effort ideas and lyric-writing.

Beats are great but I can't get over how boring Gunna's delivery is. 21 feat is fire tho.

classic gunna, nothing special

I'm not even ten minutes into the album and heard the lyric, "She not a lesbian for P, she turn Pesbian" what??
This album is flat out boring and unoriginal. I literally fell asleep skipping two song mid way through the album because of genuinely boring this album is. This project has some decent parts in it, even through all of the negatives. When at its high points, it can really be good. To be honest, the features are best parts throughout the music rather than Gunna. For example, ... read more

Gunna does have some bangers on the first half, but you kinda just fall into this empty abiss of boring, repetitive trap rap on the second half.

Gunna's fourth and supposed final installation in the "Drip Season" series, we see Gunna fail to make any real progress as an artist or change anything about him that would make him uniquely interesting. Sure, he's got the mumble flow that people do like, but it gets so mindnumbingly boring as the album goes on and on. At points, it's only the features that are keeping you from falling asleep to this record, but there's also points where Gunna himself actually tries for a song, which ... read more

This album was not very 🅿️

I have very similar feelings towards this album as I did WUNNA: not bad, just extremely one-dimensional and boring. All the beats sound the same, every verse sounds the same, and most of the features just didn't do much. Gunna is compared to his trap contemporaries yet cannot compete whatsoever.

It's probably just his style, but man I really can't sit through an entire Gunna album without getting bored. His voice is just so monotone and boring to listen to. I ... read more

Sorry to say that I'm just not a fan of this album at all, but I tried.

The thing that I take issue with is the fact that the album is 19 tracks long initially, I don't get this current trend of 'let's make 12-15 filler songs and have a handful of decent tracks at best', why can't we go back the formula that works of actually putting genuine effort into like a steady and strong 10-12 tracks, even 8 or 9. It makes you value the music that you're listening to a lot more, and not rolling your ... read more
