HOLY crap. This was really powerful. Girlboss. A beautifully surprising narrative. (no i did not say that backwards, this is shocking). Immersive oceanic contemplation of love. I loooove how consistent this is. It feels like something that could grow even more in time if u learn to appreciate the rougher production. I adore it <3
I don't feel as strongly about this album as I do about most of Halou's others. It's definitely good! Really good. I guess it hasn't "clicked" with me quite yet. That said, Milkdrunk, Wiser, and Oceanwide are some of their best songs. This album is very aquatic sounding. Very soothing. Though it does get abrasive at times!
