Do Dream Theater actually enjoy making new music together anymore?

The biggest problem with progressive metal is that, despite albums marketing themselves as progressive, they tend to do exactly the same few things. Whether it's stack solos on top of each other, write multiple melodies that go nowhere, or just resort to making the same riffs that sound like you can't start your car.
