I listened to this album knowing that it would be out of my comfort zone, giving it a seemingly inevitable negative score, but I enjoyed it more than I thought.

The imagery with suicide euphoria's album cover—and the rest of Pissgrave's catalog—was at first a bit of a deterrent, for less being disturbing but more on the thought that I looked down on it in terms of the value musically it might provide me. This is how modern dm should try to sound. I'm tired of the oversaturated "tech/prog" dm in present day that has no soul and is sapped dry of any raw energy. Now I don't think this project is without its flaws either though, the production can be a little to extreme in how bad it sounds at points, and I don't think the songwriting is all that amazing but in my opinion their delivery is what really carries this project and band.
