Atone is a bangin’ track with a measured country influence and an almost orchestral bridge bringing that signature Cantrell guitar tone to the forefront in the second half. A great mix of light and shade right here while the title track takes some classic rock influence and this works pretty well.

Prism Of Doubt gets very very country and so do the lyrics - Black Hearts and Evil Done continues this approach fully and lights up in the second half with some cool harmonic and ringy guitar ... read more
'Brighten' is Cantrell's most focused and concise solo release yet which is something to be applauded; the consistency and tight 40 minute run time make this one so much more inviting to revisit.

As before with his solo work, this release is still somewhat front loaded, with the five song opening run containing all the most impressive moments.
